StadiaCare trial automated self-programming floor cleaner robots

31st August 2023

Our Stadium commercial cleaning team is always looking into new ways to add innovation to our day-to-day operations, which includes recently trialing professional cordless and brushless robotic vacuum cleaners.

Whilst you may think such technology reduces the appeal of appointing a commercial cleaning company like StadiaCare, like a lot of innovation within our industry, these robots add another dynamic to our business.

Following extensive trials of a number of robotic cleaner brands, we have concluded there are quite a few benefits for StadiaCare to consider incorporating this technology into our daily operations.

First, there’s efficiency with the robotic vacuum cleaners using advanced sensors to navigate around obstacles and optimise cleaning paths.

As the name suggests, the robotic vacuums are cordless, being powered by an 18V lithium-ion battery which provides freedom of movement, removing the prospect of a trip hazard whilst at the same time gaining access to small recesses or hard-to-reach locations.

Next, robotic cleaners use brushless motor technology, operating far quieter than conventional cleaners plus additional advantages such as increased efficiency and reduced maintenance – both of which result in a longer lifespan.

Robotic cleaners also have high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, which enable them to capture fine dust particles, allergens, and airborne contaminants – resulting in improved indoor air quality.

Finally, users can also control the vacuum cleaners remotely as well as programme operating times. This allows for cleaning routines to be customised, which is useful for large hospitality, concourse or conference settings where late event finishes/early event starts create tight cleaning schedules.
